Hi, I’m Emily!

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) holder with more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across mental health and educational settings. I am passionate about helping young people build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and navigate life's challenges with confidence.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to serve in many different roles, including nanny, camp counselor, academic tutor, assistant teacher, special education paraprofessional, mentor, school counselor, school-based therapist, community-based therapist, care coordinator, crisis response clinician, and High-Fidelity Wraparound clinician, therapist, and support counselor. These experiences have shaped my collaborative and holistic approach to care. My clinical work includes individual therapy, family therapy, group counseling, parent coaching, crisis intervention, and care coordination. I've worked with children and adolescents from preschool through 12th grade in public schools, non-public schools, Montessori programs, and special education classrooms. I have also worked in community-based mental health settings.

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2021, completing a dual concentration in Professional Clinical Counseling and School Counseling. During graduate school, I completed three internships in both school and clinical mental health settings while continuing to work as an academic tutor and nanny. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Art History from Providence College.

After graduating from Providence College in 2017, I moved from the East Coast to Santa Rosa, California, to serve as a full-time AmeriCorps member. As a mentor, tutor, and recess leader at an elementary school, I discovered how meaningful it was to support children's emotional, social, and academic growth. That experience ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in counseling.

Today, I work on the Child Team at Kaiser Permanente and provide telehealth therapy through my private practice for clients ages 5 and older throughout California. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment where clients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful progress toward their goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring San Francisco, discovering new restaurants and bakeries, attending concerts, creating art, and spending time outdoors in nature!
